Congrats to the 2007 edition of Renaissance Indoor Percussion - TIA Chapter VI - IA Champions!!

This project was supported by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency, through its regional arts funding partnership, Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA). State government funding comes through an annual appropriation by Pennsylvania's General Assembly and from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. PPA is administered in this region by Jump Street.

2008 season
Renaissance has made many changes this year. With a huge graduating group of last season's members (congrats on all of you finishing your first year in college!), we had to focus on rebuilding. We had to make decisions that were best for the program as a whole. That's why we decided to move to the concert division. Our primary goal is to put out a clean, sound musical program. We are very proud of this year's group. They performed extremely well week after week. We were once again able to show that musicality is our primary focus. We were ranked first going into Wildwood weekend.

We are now formulating plans for next season. Next season will also have many changes - new instruments, doing drill again (yeah!), more competitions with a goal to return to WGI Regionals and to make our first appearance in Wildwood. If you are under 22 and live in the greater York, PA area, please contact us. We would love to have you in our line. It's a great way to keep your chops up during the off season. Use your skills to try out for drum corps, or get better for your marching band. Maybe your college doesn't have a marching program. You can march with us to keep those fun times alive.

Congratulations to Renaissance of 2008! Good luck to James at whatever school you decide to go to! The rest of you, we look forward to working with you again next season!

Renaissance All-Star Percussion will be doing some performances this summer. Past members and new members are invited to participate! Contact us!

Congrats to Rich on State 13!

Rich Handy(our board member) has now completed a marathon in his 13th state! Rich completed the marathon in Las Vegas, NV. A great place to get the "lucky" 13! He has completed marathons in New York City, Phoenix, Hartford (CT), Harrisburg (PA), among others! Rich is on a quest to complete a marathon in each state (ending with Hawaii, of course!!). 13 down!! Congrats to Rich!
